Oscar Elite Acoustic Plaster Installations
Choose Oscar Elite installations for a synthetic acoustic plaster finish with the appearance of conventional painted plaster. Unlike plaster, this synthetic acoustic plaster absorbs sound energy instead of reflecting it, thereby reducing reverberation times and overall noise levels, giving clarity to speech and music.
A beautiful room with simple surfaces such as feature wood floors and plain flat walls may be visually appealing but may not be the most pleasurable place to spend time due to poor acoustics.
The same visual impact combined with a sympathetic and relaxing acoustic ambience is possible with Oscar Elite synthetic acoustic plaster.
Interior designers who incorporate Oscar Elite acoustic plaster into their designs can achieve spatial design with hard smooth surfaces without compromising the acoustic ambience.

This was the case with Benbow House, luxury Thames-side apartment, Southwark, London. During refurbishment, Oscar Elite acoustic plaster was applied to walls, resulting in superb acoustics without compromising flat surfaces.
Oscar Elite acoustic plaster can be directly applied to most substrates - wood, gypsum board, concrete.
Oscar Elite installations are applied at 25mm thick; the area is dependent on the acoustical requirements of the project. An air gap is introduced to achieve high absorption at low frequencies.
Oscar Elite acoustic plaster is fire rated BS476: Class 1 to Part 7 and Class 0 to part 6.

The latest is the plush St. Pancras Grand Restaurant and Oyster Bar on the Upper Concourse alongside the Eurostar platform; a truly grand and architecturally stunning backdrop.
With its soft furnishings, vaulted ceilings, engraved glass partitions, ambient lighting, fine food and superb acoustics to match, the St. Pancras Grand, really is a must visit. The Oscar Elite acoustic plaster installation by Oscar Acoustics ensures that the noise is kept at a clear and comfortable yet atmospheric level. Gold leaf coated acoustic plaster was applied to the four main ceiling areas and to the unsuspecting diners, appears as conventional plaster. Oscar Acoustics worked with main contractors Vivid Interiors, to deliver the result without disturbing the day to day bustle of the busy St. Pancras International Station.

It is no wonder then that during shopfitting there is more accidental damage to others work than normal. With Oscar Elite, it is possible to invisibly repair scuffs, scrapes and dents, locally meaning no expensive and disruptive re-sprays.

Technical Information
Oscar Elite Installation Structure

- Trowelled to a smooth plaster finish and planished if necessary.

The finish is visually hard, and firm to the touch, but with excellent sound absorption. As with all acoustic plaster, installations should be suitably protected or in areas where damage is unlikey.
Oscar Elite acoustic plaster is installed by our own trained staff in order to guarantee optimal workmanship.
Maintainance & Cleaning
Dust is removed by lightly brushing or vacuuming with a soft brush head. A wall or a ceiling can be entirely over sprayed in acoustic plaster in the same or a change of colour.
Repairing & Servicing
A major benefit of Oscar Elite is local repairs of small areas are easily carried out without the need to remove the top layer and re-spray saving time and money. It is possible to install a new thin layer of Oscar Elite acoustic plaster when the time comes for major redecoration if necessary.
