Our range of acoustic decorative coatings are perfect for all building interiors
15mm thick one coat acoustic decorative coating
When BT Groups, 19th Century Faraday Building in the City of London received a major refurbishment the main contractor was looking for a acoustic decorative coating that would refurbish the old existing concrete soffit using a single coat. Our SonaSpray fc acoustic decorative coating was specified and our specialist installation team applied it directly onto the old concrete ceiling throughout the offices in a matter of days.
As SonaSpray's seamless finish follows and accentuates the lines of the existing surface, the Faraday Building retained it’s original character and ceiling height; something which cannot be achieved by installing suspended acoustics ceilings. Additionally SonaSpray acoustic decorative coating is an excellent sound absorber. Calculations showed a 16mm coating of SonaSpray would control noise reverberation giving a comfortable environment for staff.
We presented a full range of decorative coatings, from textured to plaster smooth, accompanied by independent acoustic test data which was submitted to the acoustic installation projects consultant for the purpose of the building acoustics calculations.
English Heritage & Irish Heritage has approved SonaSpray decorative coatings for use in listed buildings.
