Dubbed by the press as the UK's greenest building, The Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia was designed and delivered by Architype and Morgan Sindall Construction to achieve the Passivhaus standard and a BREEAM outstanding rating.  SonaSpray K-13 noise reduction insulation applied in light grey and white throughout the lecture halls and corridors contributed to this perfectly as SonaSpray consists of recycled, natural plant-based fibres and specialist water-based adhesives.

The SonaSpray range contributes towards many sustainable design and health certification systems including BREEAM, SKA, Living Building Challenge and adds up to 17 points towards the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating of a project.

It contributes towards satisfying many features under the WELL Building Standard®: an international performance-based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring features of the built environment that impact human health and wellbeing, through air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind, with a mission to improve human health and wellbeing through the built environment.

“Everyone loves the finish!  Second to the exterior thatch, it is the most asked about and photographed material in the building.

During our regular tours, people are always asking what it is and what it is for.  They love that fact that it has a purpose and is on show so they can see how the building works".
